Kozhikode: As part of the Urs-e-Ajmeer celebrations at Markaz Garden, the Prism Directorate of Heritage Learning, in collaboration with the Fiqh Department of Jamia Madeenathunnur, will organize a Sharia seminar on January 22 at Poonoor.
The seminar, titled "Islamic Practices and Opportunities in Transactions," will feature a keynote by Cherushoola Abdul Jaleel Saqafi, a senior scholar at Markaz and a member of Samastha Central Mushawara. The event will be inaugurated by Dr. A.P. Muhammad Abdul Hakkim Azhari, Rector of Jamia Madeenathunnur. Muhyudheen Saqafi Kavanur will deliver the opening address, with other scholars, including Husain Faizi Koduvally, Muhyudheen Saqafi Thalikkara, Ali Ahsani Edakkara, and Abuswalih Saqafi, contributing to the discussions.

Jafar Nurani, Chairman of Prism Foundation, Bengaluru, will chair the event. The program will also include remarks from Shihabuddin Nurani Kodak, Chairman of the Prism Directorate of Heritage, and Habib Nurani, the convener of the Directorate.
The seminar seeks to explore and provide insights into Islamic jurisprudence on modern financial and business practices.
